Banner Competition at EFX

It looks like the people at EFX are wasting no time with their proposed site changes. Today they have enlisted the help of covers makers worldwide in developing a new banner for the EuphoricFX website.

With the vast amount of talent within this hobby it will be interesting to see how the banner turns out. I look forward to seeing many artists participating for both fun and for the prize! The winning designer will receive 500 Credits and $50 to be deposited into their PayPal Account!

Here are the official rules:

It gives me great pleasure to announce the first of many competitions to be hosted by The New EFX!

The New EuphoricFX Banner competition to start immediately! Anyone may enter! The winner will recieve 500 credits towards thier account, or $50.00 USD deposited into their paypal account when we launch on September 1st.

Demensions are to be 800w x 150h, in psd format so we may extract a clear image if needed. The background color is RGB: 30, 30, 30 or #1e1e1e.
Required; Euphoric FX… Slogan is optional.
Menu is optional, but if you decide to include it in your banner, please use the following: HOME, FORUM, GALLERY, ACCOUNT.
The color scheme suggested is to follow the attached sample.
There is no template so don’t try to incorporate one as suggested by the sample used. You may however use it to determine menu positioning if you decide to use a menu in your design. The sample provided is basically for suggested colors choices and not in any way to dictate what your banner should look like. We are looking for something very fresh and new, professional, and high tech; but definately not alien. The rest is up to you!

Deadline: All submissions are to be made by August 29th, No Exceptions!
The winner will be determined by the EFX staff, and the results will obviously be posted on September 1st.

Please contact me or Tristancol when you’re ready to make your submission. Try to make your submissions early so if there’s any we do like, but want to suggest any changes, will leave plenty of time to do so.
