A few weeks ago I reported that Hailstorm was in need of a kidney transplant. Well, it looks like he was lucky enough to get one. Here’s the official word from Ric from RixGrafix:
As some of you may remember, long time member Hailstorm (HS47 on this forum) has been under the weather. Well, more than under the weather… He just had a kidney transplant! I got word from him that he is doing well and expects to be going home from the hospital today.
I’m sure it will take a while before he feels good enough to be hanging around this place much and he still has months of close monitoring ahead of him. Just wanted to let you folks know what’s going on and let Hail know out thoughts are with him and we hope he makes a full recovery.

Hey guys, I’ve been thinking of getting a brand spanking new domain name for this blog instead of the boring icoty.wordpress.com one that I currently have. DVD Cover News is also a little generic so if you have any ideas for that then go for it! Any and all ideas are welcome!
I’ve received numerous requests within the past 2 months for the news section to make a return. I have contemplated many ways to do this and have decided that news should not wait until the end of the week to be posted. So I will try out a new way of doing things. First of all, the Week In Covers section will stay at VA and will continue to be posted on a weekly basis. However, I will be keeping this blog in hopes of posting stories daily as they happen or as I find them. And at the end of the week will throw all the stories or top stories into one column that will be The Week In Covers.
DVD Cover News can, for now, be found at icoty.wordpress.com and hopefully we will have full integration with virtual aftershock in the near future. I chose the “blog” method and WordPress for a few reasons. 1. I don’t need to have my laptop to post stories, I can post them on any computer that has a web connection. Previously, I would use a web processor to type out the article/weeks news. 2. There’s no other Cover News Blog out there so I’ll have a niche blog! 3. I find the WordPress blogs much more appealing visually then the php forums that I am using at Virtual Aftershock.
